This is a very old piece with a wonderful sense of history. In traditional jam making, the fruit is often cooked quickly over high heat to preserve its flavour. For this reason, copper pans — known for their excellent heat conductivity — have long been used in French households for making jam. The handles are hand-riveted, giving the pan a simple yet very charming character. A water leakage test was carried out by filling the pan with water for 1–2 hours.
