Made from thin stainless steel, it feels light and easy to handle. The softly shaped rim, reminiscent of flower petals, gives it a gentle and charming look. The matte finish pairs beautifully with the simple design. Lovely for serving desserts, but also nice for small items, jewellery, or as a decorative piece. Dating from around the 1940s–50s, each piece has slight variations from hand-finishing, adding to its vintage character. As it is made of stainless steel, it shows some natural signs of age, but can also be lightly polished to bring back a soft shine. A water leakage test was carried out by filling the cup with water for 1–2 hours. A feeding cup is a vessel designed to allow a patient to drink water while lying down. Its glossy glaze, the proportion of the mouth opening, the gentle curve of the spout, and the shape of the handle — in these small details, you can sense a certain French character. During that time, feeding cups were produced by various kilns across France, and each maker had slightly different tones and subtle design details. Collecting and comparing them can be quite enjoyable. Water test has been conducted (filled for 1–2 hours), and no leakage was found.
