【French Vallauris Oven Plate / 19th Century】
A rustic oven plate from Vallauris in the south of France, a town well known for its warm, earthy pottery.
This piece features a beautiful green glaze on the front, simple and full of character.
One can’t help but wonder what delicious dishes were once served in it.
Inside, the white glaze shows natural crazing, gently reflecting its age.
On the back, there are dark, flower-like marks — perhaps traces from an old wood-fired oven.
A piece that carries the honest charm of traditional French kitchenware.
