Vieux Paris(=パリ窯)のシュガーボウルです。
フランスの白磁(＝Porcelaine)には洗練さと凛とした趣きを感じます。
このタイプのシュガーポットは、とても人気が高く状態が良いものが少ないようです。
非常に希少なお品です。
フランスらしい洗練されたフォルムに、持ち手部分には人の顔のようなレリーフが施されています。
小物やポプリを入れて飾ってみてはいかがですか。

A sugar bowl by Vieux Paris.
French white porcelain (porcelaine) has that refined, slightly dignified feel that never goes out of style.
This type of sugar pot is quite popular, yet it’s becoming harder to find one in good condition. A rather rare piece.
The elegant French form is beautifully balanced, and the handles are decorated with relief details that almost resemble small faces — a charming and unusual touch.
Why not use it to hold small treasures or potpourri and enjoy it as part of your interior?

There is a chip and a crack on the base of the main body. There is also some staining around the inner rim of the lid. However, considering it dates from the 19th century, it remains in relatively beautiful condition.
