フランスのシンシニーという小さな村で、1737年に陶器工場が設立されました。
ルーアン窯の職人さんを呼び、迎え入れたこともあり、装飾やデザインなどがルーアンの陶器に似ていたようで、たくさんの名高いブランドの作品が生まれたようです。
青みがかった艶やかな白の釉薬に黄・赤・白の綺麗な小花がハンドペインティングで描かれています。
フランスのファイアンスフィーヌをより感じられる歴史的な一品です。

【Polychrome Flower Painted Faience Bowl / Late 18th–Early 19th Century】
In the small French village of Sinceny, a pottery factory was established in 1737.
Artisans from Rouen Faience Manufactory were invited to join, and because of this, the
decoration and style often resembled Rouen faience.
Over time, many well-known and respected pieces were produced there.
This bowl features a slightly bluish, glossy white glaze, beautifully hand-painted with delicate flowers in yellow, red and white.
It is a historical piece that truly captures the spirit of French faience fine ware.
