【St.Raphael Quinquina Vinatge Ribbed Liqueur Glass Bottle 1920-50/薄オリーブグリーンのリキュールグラスボトル】
St.Raphaelは、1830年代に南フランスで創業されたフランスのリキュールメーカーで、代表作がこちらのQuinquina、キニーネというマラリアの特効薬として使用されている薬用植物(樹皮)から抽出される天然薬成分のことで、香草やワインをベースにしたリキュールです。
食前酒(アペリティフ)として飲まれることが多いようです。
そんなリキュールが保存されていた1920~50年代頃のヴィンテージボトルです。
光にかざすと半透明なオリーブグリーンのガラスがほんのり透けて、レトロな”St.Raphael Quinquina”の文字が浮かび上がります。
アール・デコを想わせる波打つようなユニークなフォルムが可愛らいい一品。
＊コルクの蓋がついたままですので、水漏れテストはしておりません。

【St. Raphaël Quinquina Vintage Ribbed Liqueur Glass Bottle, c.1920–1950】
St. Raphaël is a French liqueur producer founded in southern France in the 1830s.
Its well-known drink, Quinquina, is a wine-based herbal liqueur flavored with quinine, a natural medicinal extract obtained from the bark of the cinchona tree, historically used as a treatment for malaria.
This bottle once contained that liqueur and dates from around the 1920s–1950s.
When held up to the light, the semi-transparent olive green glass softly glows, revealing the retro “St. Raphaël Quinquina” lettering.
The ribbed surface and gently undulating form evoke an Art Deco style, giving the bottle a unique and charming presence.
A cork stopper is still attached, therefore a water leakage test has not been conducted.

A small chip is on the rim of the bottle. As the original cork remains, there is some residue inside. Overall signs of age and use are visible, but considering its nearly 100-year history, the bottle remains in relatively good vintage condition.
