フランスアンティーク18世紀頃のジャム用の銅製の鍋です。
とても古いお品です。
ジャム作りは短時間で煮詰めるほうが美味しくできるため熱伝導性の高い”銅鍋”が最適のようでフランスの家庭でも主に銅鍋を使用し作られているようです。
持ち手部分は手打ちで留められていて、シンプルな作りでとても味があります。
＊水漏れテストとして、1～2時間水を張って漏れがないか確認済です。水漏れはありませんでした。

18th Century French Antique Copper Jam Pan
An antique copper jam pan from France, dating from around the 18th century.
This is a very old piece with a wonderful sense of history.
In traditional jam making, the fruit is often cooked quickly over high heat to preserve its flavour.
For this reason, copper pans — known for their excellent heat conductivity — have long been used in French households for making jam.
The handles are hand-riveted, giving the pan a simple yet very charming character.
A water leakage test was carried out by filling the pan with water for 1–2 hours. No leakage was found.
